The polls are lighting up...

We are cooking with gas now, people! Really getting things done. Everyone's coming out the woodworks to voice their opinion...more to follow later.

Homemade Guacamole

The dang computer just deleted my post, so here we go again. I highly recommend making yourself some homemade guacamole. You will see the world in a brand new light. All you need:

2 avocadoes
1 lime
dash of salt
some trinity
little bit of diced tomato
Tabasco
L&P

The secret is in the Tabasco and L&P. Without these two, you're guac is pretty bland. These two add the right amount of bite to make you grab another dip. It's also nearly impossible to overdo it with the lime, so don't be bashful.

Mash up your avocadoes like you're making mashed potatoes, add the lime, and then all of the other ingredients. Mix it all up to create a bowl of green goodness and you're set.

Check out my twitpic of the last batch I made, although it was with only one avocado: http://twitpic.com/2gmjsn

I'm saying it here...

This new design template has done it for me, and you, the readers. I will start blogging more often because I care so dearly about each reader and I know how much this means to you. I mean, would Shakespeare have written all of that junk if no one would have read any of it? Probably not. I'm not saying that I'm the next Shakespeare, but for now, just call me Bill.

It's Super Bowl week

Can you believe it? I'm still having a hard time, but the Saints really are going to the Super Bowl, and the game is this week! Throngs of people are heading to Miami for the game and even more are coming in to New Orleans. Don't post your comments below with score predictions because I don't care about them.

More importantly, I don't want anyone EVER commenting after any of my posts.

WHO DAT!

Preparations for Pasadena

As I pack and prepare for Pasadena, I find myself wondering about what I will eat in the L.A. area.  Of course, Drew Brees loves In n Out Burger, so I love In n Out Burger.  I can't wait to try it.  There's one close to our hotel, so I can see myself eating there three times at least.  What about sushi though?  I'm a bit of an amateur when it comes to sushi, and I don't have the tongue for gross stuff like octopus and whatnot.  I hope I don't get too grossed out.

Oh yeah, the game.  I'm all fired up.  I think that it will come down to field position and turnovers.  Jordan Shipley will get his touches, because otherwise he'll whine to Colt about it in bed til kingdom come.  If the Tide can keep his touches low though, and keep them in their own territory, then they'll have the upper hand.  Also, special teams.  As Bobby Fisher always said, big returns can change the field position battle in a heartbeat, so let's stay in our lanes on kickoff coverage and swarm the ball on punt coverage.

Right now, I hear Favori calling my name.  I'll have another update for the masses in Pasadena.  Roll Tide
